रांची में छात्र प्रदर्शन के दौरान कथित बदसलूकी का मामला गरमा गया है। छात्र प्रदर्शनकारी प्रतिमा कुमारी ने आरोप लगाया कि शांतिपूर्ण मार्च के दौरान 20–30 लोगों के समूह ने उनका पुतला छीनने की कोशिश की और विरोध करने पर उनके साथ मारपीट की गई। उन्होंने दावा किया कि उनका स्टोल खींचा गया और मास्क भी गिर गया। प्रतिमा ने आरोपियों को JMM से जुड़े लोग बताते हुए प्रशासन से कड़ी कार्रवाई और न्याय की मांग की है। उन्होंने पुलिस पर भी छात्रों पर लाठीचार्ज करने का आरोप लगाया। प्रतिमा ने कहा कि 26 दिनों से शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन कर रहे छात्रों के साथ ऐसा व्यवहार बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है।
Tensions have escalated in Ranchi following allegations of misbehavior during a student protest. Student protestor Pratima Kumari alleged that while their peaceful march was underway, a group of around 20–30 people tried to Snatch their effigy. She claimed that she was slapped twice, her stole was pulled, and her mask fell during the scuffle. Pratima alleged that some of those involved were linked to JMM and demanded strict action against them. She also accused the police of lathi-charging protesting students when one of the alleged attackers was caught. She demanded justice and questioned the administration’s handling of the 26-day-long student protest.
